Cynthia Gammon, CFP®, CSRIC®
Partner I LPL Financial Planner
Born and raised in the Northwest, Cindy has been an integral member of Hive Financial since 2005. She is passionate about aligning client’s investments with their values in the financial planning process. She works with clients to seek what drives them and discover their goals and integral values – in order to find strategies or a dynamic road map to work towards achieving those goals in a way that does not compromise their values.
Education has always been a focus for Cindy, and she is passionate about helping our clients become comfortable with and understanding all the intricacies of their financial life and accounts. She feels that with more information and understanding, comes better and more confident decision making. She aims to be your guide in navigating your financial life in order to help work towards achieving your financial goals. Cindy is particularly passionate about working with women to pursue and maintain a high level of understanding and confidence about their financial decision-making and to pursue financial independence and confidence throughout their lives.
In 2020, Cindy earned the CFP® designation (Certified Financial Planner) and also proudly became a Partner in HIVE Financial.
Additionally, Cindy is a CSRIC® (Chartered Socially Responsible Investment Counselor) — the first nationally recognized certification focused on Sustainable, or ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), Investing. She has been securities-registered since 2007 and holds FINRA registrations Series 66, Series 7, Series 6, and Series 63 held with LPL Financial.
Cindy has a unique background – with two degrees in the arts prior to joining the firm and the financial industry - a BFA in painting and photography from Cornish College of the Arts, and also an MFA in Photography from The School of Visual Arts in New York City. This creative background helps her approach problem solving from a different angle and think outside the box when it comes to helping clients. She continues to enjoy photography and the arts in general. She is a lover of the outdoors – particularly the mountains. She grew up skiing in the PNW and continues the passion today as an avid skier and hiker. On weekends and holidays, you will find her seeking adventure in one way, shape or form - either skiing down snowy slopes, backpacking or paddleboarding – challenging herself to new personal achievements and experiences. She is also an avid reader, and is particularly interested in how political, financial, environmental and economic matters intersect and impact our daily lives and the world around us. She currently resides in West Seattle, where she has lived since 2008.
